A few days ago i was boppin to some pandora and heard this song. I remember hearing the song at American Eagle and i was in trace due to how kewl it sounded--not the quality of the lame video. :\

So anyways, i took the first 1:15 bit of the song and made a kinetic typography out of it--yeah yeah i know i was workin on the hairspray song, but i feel like i got alot more done when i had a sound clip opposed to an entire song to worry about. Fortunately, i finished most of the animation the words in aftereffects, so now im going to animate the camera to make it look extra epic. I think im making good time--i started only a few days ago..

AND DING DONG--MY NEW INTUOS4 TABLET JUS ARRIVED. YEYYYY.

Hey yallll

UGHHHHHH my ~animation~ plans were put on hold for a while because

1.) job hunt (ohhh the fun)--but i made a ballin resume, so..YAYYY

2.) i promised myself i wouldnt stress myself with projects as if im in school--gotta go with the flow and enjoy the summer, ya dig??

^___^ hey yall!!

omigosh so there are a milli and one things i wanna do over the summmer and the minute i have an epic idea, another arises. all kinds of experimentation ^__^ yey.

so i put my flash project on a lil hiatus and im practicing typography--dont worry im still gonna work on it. but i find if i have a few projects goin on at the same time, i wont start gettin sick of any of them :P..and besides, all this is helping me in the long run--especially when it comes to becoming even more familiar with th programs XD

so yeah, typography. i decided to do a cutesy song from hairspray (BEST. MOVIE. EVER.)

speaking of movies, I FINALLY SAW UP YESTERDAY. i enjoyed it :D. im kinda in love with Dug XD..i wanna talkin doggy soo badly D:

One of my friends called it girly...which is fine cuz...well i AM girly XD

-____- bloggin hurts my pride a bit. im so used to being on facebook that coming here and seeing ~0 comments~ kinda sucks. There's not even a cute little popup tellin me that pplz care D;....oh well ill get over it haha

i worked on the line drawlllling in illustrator yesterday, so ill put up some in-progress screencaps of the two human characters of my film ^__^

The guy's name is Shaun and the girl is April....oh dear i jus realized i have friends with those names....>_> oh well.

ANYWAYS. i wanted a simplistic, kinda funny design for them, i think it looks kewl--a little pacmanish. i think id even say flounderish XD..i got that idea actually from my roommate sayin that whenever i imitate anyone or tell a story making voices, she pictures these puppet-like characters talking from the sides of their mouths XD XD XD..ahh i forgot to upload the birdie. maybe later..

OH hayyy yall!!! I really should post some scans of my storyboards so, u know, yall will know that Im not making this all up hahaha…but for realz, I just don’t feel like it XD

I have to scan the rest of my stuff and whatnot. Sooo when I feel good and ready (hopefully soon), ill jack my fotobukkit up with hotness haha

• Thought of epic story: Check.
• Epic music to go along: Check.
• Style Concept: Check.
• Character Concept: Check.
• Animation Concept: Check.
• All Other Concept Aspects: Check.
• Having a dependable source of Adobe products: Check.
• 1 of three character coloring done.
• 2 1/3 of charcter line drawing done.
• Storyboarding (rough) done for the most part.
• More cleaned up storyboard done.
• The same song playing in my head over a milli times. Check.

To Do List:
• Get More Flash Training..More tutorials. -__-
• Finish Coloring the other 2 characters.
• Finish Line art of last character.
• Background Art.
• Create a Logo.
• Actually Make the Animation!!! XD
• Dance for Joy when I'm finished.
• Upload onto this blog and Facebook >:D
Ill prolly think of more to put on here, but thats what I can think of right now.

I should upload concept drawings and whatnot....later. :)

So....i guess this would be my first post in my new ~blog~ >__>....YAYYYYY

okay so i have thirty minutes tiil im bout to chillax with my buddies, and i got the great idea of making a blog...so...um...yeah.

I guess im making this to have like an ~archive~ of all my projects im working on for the summer and eventually for when i get back to school. Savannah College of Art and Design--wOOOooOOp!!! loll)

i actually have many personal projects ive bestowed (plagued?) upon myself, so i think id be pretty kewl to keep track of my progress on here for all u (non) viewers XD

the project im workin on is totes new and different for me, but im having fun!! im gonna do a music video to the song "Young Folks" by Peter Bjorn and John. Pretty nice song..it reminds me of..happy memories :), so i never get sick of listening to it over and over and over again :D...ive just redrew some parts of my storyboard, but its done for the most part. im experimenting with...well, experimental animation. and this is gonny be my first Flash production evarrrr. i bought (yes, BOUGHT) Adobe CS4 and decided to teach myself Flash over the summer. pretty kewl stuff ^__^

ill upload goodies when i feel like it...which will hopefully be tonight or tomorrow. so....:D laters, yall.
